Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute physicians have pioneered advanced surgical methods and procedures in multi-specialty orthopaedics and sports medicine to enhance treatment, rehabilitation and recovery. Over more than half a century, the institute has become an internationally recognized center for research and education in sports medicine. The institute has a longstanding commitment to strengthening the Los Angeles community through wide-ranging programs and offers the longest-running accredited Fellowship training program in Sports Medicine, boasting a nearly 400 alumni network throughout the U.S.

Institute physicians are the official team healthcare providers for the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Clippers and Angel City FC as well as providing team physician services for the Los Angeles Angels, Galaxy, Anaheim Ducks, USMNT soccer, and the Institute is only one of three US based FIFA Medical Centres of Excellence. In addition, numerous other professional and recreational athletes, and collegiate athletic programs in the Los Angeles region and nationwide rely on institute physicians for treatment and care.

Under the Cedars-Sinai partnership, the Institute expanded to a 40-plus multi-specialty orthopaedic group across nine clinic locations and two ambulatory surgery centers from the west valley to Orange County.
