Dr. Clint Soppe and Dr. Bert Mandelbaum consulted the MLS club’s medical team and performed surgery on Pulido who underwent an osteochondral autograft transfer system, or OATS, procedure in 2022. The surgery replaces damaged cartilage with tissue from a non-weight-bearing part of the body.
